Elsie Hewitt has voiced the hard experience she had while having a child, she said that she hated being pregnant.

This was when the 29-year-old was expecting daughter named Scottie, who was born in December, 2025, with her boyfriend Pete Davidson.

In an open letter to Elle, the model talked about why she was feeling very "uncomfortable, always sick," tired and sore during her pregnancy.

With a stage 4 endometriosis diagnosis and chronic pain, Hewitt claimed that she preferred a more clinical approach with an OB-GYN instead of a midwife and put her health and safety first.

Her pregnancy was both unplanned and discovered soon after laparoscopic excision of endometriosis.

Hewitt wrote that she had been eager to take her body back after years of fighting with medicine and being in an industry where beauty is the bread winner.

“Pregnancy completely derailed that,” she wrote, thinking about the emotional expense.

Hewitt also admitted that she chose not to breastfeed and that she experienced guilt that she felt inherently.

When she termed formula a safe, healthy, and nutritionally complete, she said that she had to protect her mental and physical recovery.

“I didn’t want to remain her sole lifeline in a way that would further deplete me,” she marked.

The pair was sharing in feeding the baby, which helped both herself and the baby without risking her health.
