Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man released its first trailer with finally unveiling the role of Barry Keoghan.

The film takes place few years after the end of season six, opening into Birmingham 1940, as the city prepares for upcoming World War II.

The trailer kicked off with Thomas Shelby (Cillian Murphy), who has left Birmingham and his old life behind, seems to be recovering from losing his many loved ones, specially his daughter, Ruby (Heaven-Leigh Clee).

As he is seen walking hauntedly across his home, new character Kaulo (Rebecca Ferguson) is heard saying, "You live in a house haunted with ghosts of people who died because of you."

The scene switches to Thomas having conversation with his sister Ada (Sophie Rundle), who tells him, "Your Gypsy son is running the Peaky Blinders like it's 1919 all over again."

Scenes of Keoghan, who turns out to be Thomas' illegitimate son, Duke Thomas, are shown in his full gangster glory just like how his father used to be back then.

Thomas in conversation with Ada replies that he can't help his son now because he is not that man anymore.

The trailer then cuts to a scene where Duke is being asked if he is prepared to commit "treason," to win the war in Germany's favour.

Seemingly this act puts him in trouble ultimately Tommy walking back again in the show's iconic pub The Garrison.

Stephen Graham's Hayden Stagg tells Tommy that he thought "he'd decided it wasn't his war" to fight, Tommy menacingly replies, "It is now."

The trailer then shares a series of powerful explosions and gore fights concluding with a scene of Keoghan and Murphy taking a shot at the bar together as they appear to be working together.

Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man hits select theatres on March 6, followed by Netflix on March 20.
