Barack Obama, who served as the 44th president of the United States, has broken his silence on Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime show.

Although the performance was slammed by President Donald Trump, the 64-year-old has differing opinions on the overall performance.

According to the Democrat, the show is a good example of a “beloved community,” calling it “smart” for not preaching but instead “demonstrating and displaying.”

He pinpointed several moments that were significant from the event, including an elderly woman “serving a drink” and children “dancing with their grandmas.”

Obama noted that it resonated with those who did not speak Spanish or have never been to Puerto Rico, serving as a reminder in the words of Dr. King: “The beloved community can look like.”

The politician appreciated the inclusivity of the event, having room for everybody.

This contradicted with Trump’s remarks about the halftime, calling it the “worst, EVER” as nobody “understands a word this guy is saying.”

What did President Donald Trump say about Bad Bunny halftime show?

In his social media update, the Republican slammed the show as a “slap in the face to our country.”

Despite facing immense pressure, Bad Bunny did not step back from taking up one of the biggest stages.

He made history as the first Latino, signing in his native language along with other celebrities, including Pedro Pascal, Jessica Alba, Cardi B and others.
