Nicholas Galitzine opens up about his 'He-Man' action figure

Nicholas Galitzine, the British star cast as the iconic superhero He-Man in the upcoming Masters of the Universe movie, reacted with genuine excitement upon seeing his own action figure for the first time, calling it a “childhood dream come true.”

Galitzine shared his response on social media, recalling how, as a child, he spent hours playing with action figures and imagining stories long before he ever dreamed of starring in a major Hollywood franchise. 

Moreover, seeing a collectible version of himself now immortalized as He-Man was an emotional moment he said he never expected to experience in real life.

According to People, the figure is part of a new range tied to the film, which reimagines the classic 1980s toy and animated property for a modern audience.

Galitzine headlines a star-studded cast that includes Camila Mendes, Alison Brie, Jared Leto, Morena Baccarin and Idris Elba in the live-action adaptation directed by Travis Knight.

Furthermore, in preparation for the physically demanding role, he underwent intense training, describing the transformation as one of the toughest challenges he’s undertaken, a commitment he said made seeing the figure all the more meaningful.

'Masters of the Universe' is set to hit theaters on June 5, 2026, as one of the summer’s most anticipated blockbusters.
