Nicki Minaj issues response to Trevor Noah for 2026 Grammy joke

Nicki Minaj was mentioned at the 68th annual Grammy Awards ceremony despite not being in attendance.

The 43-year-old rapper slammed the host of the prestigious even hours after he took an aim at her during his address.

Dressed in a suit, the 41-year-old noted that the Barbie World hitmaker is “not here” as she “is still at the White House with Donald Trump.”

According to the South African producer, the musician is “discussing very important issues,” dragging her for controversial political opinions.

In response to the jab, Nicki took to X (formerly Twitter) to call out the host for somewhat personal information, writing: “Trevor refuses to come out the closet.”

She alleged that the entire Hollywood “industry knows his” partner, attaching a picture of herself in a pink hat: “NICKI WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING!”

However, the online community did not side with the Side to Side crooner and instead called her out for revealing personal information on the internet.

Is Nicki Minaj affected by hate and criticism? 

This came after the musician publicly endorsed the president and refused to back down, noting that the hate and criticism would only motivate her more.

Despite being called out by the Hollywood stars and fans, she revealed a shift in her political views after being invited for speaking at the United Nations for Nigerian Christians.
