Selena Gomez, Benny Blanco to snub Grammys 2026: Reason revealed

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco, who tied knot in 2025, have seemingly decided to skip one of the most important music awards of 2026.

The couple’s seats were nowhere to be seen in the newly released video of the Grammy sittings which left their fans disappointed.

The two seemingly have a reason to do so as the 33-year-old singer addressed the political situation in the USA during her recent Rare Beauty mental health chat.

Selena started the chat by acknowledging “what’s happening in Minneapolis and across the county” amid the ongoing ICE raids against illegal immigrants.

The Only Murders in the Building star noted that she is feeling a range “of different emotions” personally as there is “a lot of pain... anger, uncertainty and sadness.”

The ongoing clip of the seating arrangement shows around the venue with name tags for celebrities like Tyler, The Creator, Jamie Foxx, Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter, Miley Cyrus and many more.

Selena's decision will mark 10 years since the songstress last attended the prestigious ceremony while it will three years for her husband since he was in attendance at the event.

It is to be noted that her song with the record producer Bluest Flame earned a nomination in the category Best Dance Pop Recording in the upcoming Grammys.
