Olivia Culpo drops surprise detail about husband Christian McCaffrey

Olivia Culpo has opened up about life as a new mum and why she always knew her husband Christian McCaffrey was destined to be an amazing dad.

The 33-year-old model welcomed their baby daughter, Colette, in July, and Olivia says watching Christian step into fatherhood has been nothing short of heart-melting. 

Speaking to Us Weekly, the former Miss Universe shared that her confidence in the 29-year-old came long before nappies and night feeds entered the picture.

“I always knew he would be a really good dad because he’s a really good person,” she said, adding that Christian’s own upbringing played a big part. 

“He has a really good example because his parents are great.”

The NFL star has already taken on the role of protector, with Olivia convinced their daughter will grow up feeling deeply loved and safe. 

The Other Woman actress also reflected on her own close bond with her father, Peter Culpo, admitting she’s a proud “daddy’s girl” and can already see the same connection forming between Christian and little Colette. 

But while motherhood has brought plenty of joy, it hasn’t come without challenges.

The brunette beauty recently admitted she suffered a “little bit of an identity crisis” after giving birth, confessing it was scary adjusting to having someone completely dependent on her.
