Ariana Grande has hinted that she may finally be ready to hit pause on her whirlwind career.
The 32-year-old superstar admitted that a proper break could actually be “healthy” for her after 15 relentless years in the spotlight.
Ariana, who shot to fame as a teenager on Nickelodeon’s Victorious, has barely stopped since, juggling chart-topping music with major acting roles.
But now she says the non-stop grind may be catching up with her.
Speaking to Vogue Japan, the pint-sized pop queen confessed she isn’t used to slowing down, but stepping away from music while filming Wicked proved eye-opening.
“These past few years have been pretty non-stop,” she admitted. “And by few, I mean 15.”
The Side to Side singer revealed she’s now craving “balance” and wants the next chapter of her life to look very different from the last.
It's worth noting that the singer-turned-actress fully immersed herself in her role as Glinda in the two-part Wicked movie, digging deep into the character’s insecurities and hidden struggles.
Ariana explained how she explored Glinda’s relationships and emotional scars, describing her as a “high-functioning, performative human being”.
She also reflected on the blurred line between performance and reality, admitting the world often can’t tell the difference.
Off-screen, Bang Bang hitmaker formed a close bond with co-star Cynthia Erivo, calling their connection a true “sisterhood”.
