Bad Bunny and the band Green Day have earned remarks from the President of the United States as he unveiled what he thinks of them being chosen as the 2026 Super Bowl performers.

The Puerto Rican rapper has already been the subject of disapproval by the Trump administration and it is evident that the rock band is not a preference for the businessman either.

In an interview with the New York Post, the politician said, “I’m anti-them. I think it’s a terrible choice. All it does is sow hatred. Terrible,” likely because both the musicians are critics of the 79-year-old.

Trump also went on to reveal that he would not be attending this year’s event in San Francisco like he did last year in New Orleans, but the reason behind his absence is surprisingly not the performers.

“It’s just too far away, I would. I’ve [gotten] great hands [at] the Super Bowl. They like me. I would go if, you know, it was a little bit shorter,” the media personality added.

Green Day has been a longstanding and outspoken critic of the President, changing the lyrics to their song American Idiot to slam his 'MAGA agenda' and even selling Trump’s mugshot on a T-shirt to raise money for charity.

Notably, Bad Bunny has also sent a message of inclusivity and peace despite expressing fear of ICE raids and being mistreated by the officials.
