‘High School Musical 3’ actor Matt Prokop under arrest

Matt Prokop, who is a former teen actor and Disney star, has been arrested after having a run-in with the law previously.

The Geek Charming star already had a questionable past, after his longtime girlfriend Sarah Hyland was granted a restraining order against him but his latest arrest puts him in a worse light.

According to TMZ, the 35-year-old has been arrested on child p*rnography charge, along with some others and has not been granted bail.

The High School Musical 3: Senior Year actor was taken into custody on Christmas Eve in Victoria County, Texas.

Matt’s arrest is also reportedly linked to the violation of the terms of a bond, aggravated assault as well as evading and resisting arrest.

The disgraced actor has not been in any mainstream roles since the mid-2010’s and was previously accused of verbal and physical abuse by the Modern Family star.

Although not many details have been made public about the details of the arrest as of yet, internet users have taken to social media to express their disapproval over the actor.

“Hollywood is so corrupted,” one internet user wrote on X, as another penned, “First he was a woman beater and he still is one and now he’s a pedophile.”

When did Sarah Hyland date Matt Prokop?

Sarah and Matt dated for four years after they met in 2010, after which the former got a domestic violence temporary restraining order against the latter.
