Scott Wolf’s shares emotional New Year message after Kelley split

Scott Wolf has opened up about what he calls the most difficult year of his life and he’s doing it with honesty, heart and hope.

The 57-year-old actor welcomed the New Year by sharing a deeply personal Instagram post, starting with an image of a burning dumpster. 

“Grateful for the hardest year of my life,” he wrote, admitting that 2025 pushed him and the people he loves to their limits. 

There was pain, growth, tears and laughter but above all, learning and behind the reflective words was a year filled with real-life turmoil. 

For those unfamiliar, Scott filed for divorce from his wife of 21 years, Kelley Wolf, in June. 

The former couple share three children, and Nancy Drew actor made it clear his family remained his main focus through everything.

The months that followed were marked by serious concerns for the 49-year-old TV personality’s mental health, including hospital stays, legal battles and public tension between the estranged pair. 

Kelley has previously spoken out, saying she felt under immense pressure while trying to protect her children.

Despite it all, moments of kindness still shone through. In October, he quietly acknowledged Kelley’s birthday with a heartfelt post, hinting at a softening between them. 

It's worth noting that by the end of the year, all protective orders had been dismissed.

As 2026 begins, Scott isn’t dwelling on the chaos, instead, he’s choosing gratitude.

“The hardest year brought the most love,” he wrote.
