Olivia Colman does not like to show off her Oscar trophy

British actress Olivia Colman is a modern-day legend who has won every award possible, including the Oscar.

However, she does not like to show it off.

The 51-year-old won her Best Actress Oscar for her portrayal of Queen Anne in 2019’s The Favourite.

While making an appearance on The Great Christmas Bake Off on Boxing Day, Olivia revealed where she keeps her coveted trophy that is every actor’s dream.

The host Alison Hammond asked Olivia where she keeps her trophy to which Olivia replied its a hidden spot.

“It's now on a bookshelf, but hidden behind a book”, the actress revealed leaving everyone stunned.

The Crown star was asked why she does not display it on a visible spot, and her answer was “Because I think it's a bit showy-offy”.

The host joked that if she had won, she “would literally have them on display outside my house”.

The British actress is also widely known for playing the role of Queen Elizabeth in the third and fourth seasons of The Crown.

She was also nominated for another Best Actress Oscar for her work in 2020’s The Lost Daughter but lost it to Jessica Chastain.
