Ryan Tedder is complimenting Taylor Swift for her songwriting skills, by dishing on what it is that makes her so good.
The OneRepublic front man worked with the Is It Over Now? singer for her tracks on the pop classic 1989, and is revealing what makes the 14-time Grammy winner the most talented writer he’s ever been in a room with.
In a recent conversation with Tamara Dhia, the record producer stated, “She’s just like a master of words, she just has a very large lexicon you know, the larger your vocabulary, the larger the bandwidth of your expression.”
“She knows how to turn a phrase, it’s song craft, having craft and learning the art of songwriting, Taylor nailed that, so many things lined up…her ability to be tapping her emotions at all times and read from her own inner dialogue and make it interesting every time,” Ryan added.
The 46-year-old had previously called Taylor the smartest, hardest working and most talented artist on earth, which is especially high praise since he has worked with a number of artists in the Hollywood industry.
Taylor’s songs are narrative-driven, and the Ivy singer uses her storytelling abilities to write lyrics and poetry.
