Lady Gaga abruptly stopped her show in Sydney after an unfortunate slip and fall incident took place during her performance.
The incident happened Saturday night as the 39-year-old singer was performing Garden of Eden on her Mayhem Ball Tour. Heavy rain had soaked the stage making it slippery.
Fan-shot videos circulating on X and TikTok show one of Gaga’s dancers slipping and falling out of view near the edge of the stage.
Gaga immediately ran toward the spot and signaled for the music to stop as the lights went down.
“Just one second,” she told the crowd, before repeatedly checking on him. “Are you okay?”
Moments later she reassured fans. “We just had an accident on stage. Everything’s okay. Everyone just wait a second, please.”
Gaga proceeded to directly reach out to the dancer involved in the fall in an empathetic way and gave him a tight hug before proceeding to her performance.
The dancer was later identified as Michael Dameski. He confirmed on Instagram Stories that he was not injured.
“Hey everyone, I’m ok. Thank you for checking,” he wrote, sharing a clip of himself dancing in a bathroom. “Happy I was able to finish the last show of the year!”
He later posted footage of himself back on stage adding, “The show must go on.”
The Mayhem Ball Tour has already travelled across North America, Europe, and Australia. Gaga has confirmed the tour will continue in 2026 with new dates set for the US and Canada.
