Pop superstar Lady Gaga has promised fans she won’t be hanging up her microphone anytime soon.

The 39-year-old wowed audiences at London’s The O2 on her The Mayhem Ball tour, making a heartfelt pact with her devoted fans.

“Every city that I go to I make a pact… If I come back 20 years from now, will you come to the show? You promise? I will be here no matter what,” she told the cheering crowd.

Moreover, she also reflected on her two-decade-long journey in music.

“It’s been almost 20 years that we have been together. Can you believe it?” she said, praising her fans for their unwavering support and admitting she still feels “happy” and “grateful” every time someone buys a ticket to see her live.

But it hasn’t all been smooth sailing, as earlier this month, Gaga had to cancel a show in Miami after experiencing severe vocal strain during rehearsal.

Taking to Instagram, she apologised to fans, explaining: “I want to be hardcore and just push through this for you, but I don’t want to risk long-term or permanent damage to my vocal cords.”

She added that the decision was “agonising” but necessary to protect her voice.

Despite the setback, the Bloody Mary singer’s London crowd witnessed her infectious energy and determination, proving that nearly 20 years after bursting onto the global stage, the Mother Monster still knows how to put on a show.
