Despite being known as a billionaire, Taylor Swift doesn’t do frivolous spending and is more focused on making donations and supporting causes.
During her December 10 appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the multi-Grammy-winning singer revealed one area, aside from donations or causes, where she spent her hard-earned money from The Eras Tour.
Swift told Colbert that she had finally regained ownership of her master recordings.
“That’s how I spent that Eras Tour money. My fans are the reason I was able to get my music back,” she said.
Promoting her new Disney+ docuseries, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour / The End of an Era, Swift added that the tour also led to life-changing moments, including meeting her fiancé, Travis Kelce.
The Eras Tour spanned nearly two years, running from March 17, 2023, to December 8, 2024.
Swift’s Eras Tour, a once-in-a-lifetime experience, grossed more than US$2 billion (approx. $3 billion) in ticket sales. It was also the highest-earning tour of all time and shattered attendance records.
