Lily Collins reacts as world leaders spark chaos over ‘Emily in Paris’

Lily Collins reacts to politicians across Europe fighting over Emily in Paris, calling it “a European love triangle.”

On her recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Collins got candid about the upcoming season of the Netflix rom-com series.

“There are now world leaders fighting over ‘Emily in Paris,’” the host remarked. “Rome is upset. They want Emily in Rome. And France… Emmanuel Macron is mad. He wants Emily back in Paris.”

Big laughter erupted in the hall as Collins said, “It's a bit of a European love triangle.”

“And then, you know, the Prime Minister of Greece recently said that his wife's favorite show is ‘Emily in Paris,’” Collins shared.

She added that the PM's favorite thing to do after a long day is to watch the show with his wife at home.

“I was like, ‘What?!’” Collins exclaimed. “A long, hard day at the office? You mean, like, running Greece? And then you go home and watch Emily in Paris?”

Emily in Paris Season 5 is set to drop on Netflix on December 18, 2025.
