Met Gala’s new updates have been made public.
The event is the most important fashion event of the year which is attended by multiple celebrities raising millions of dollars in charity.
For the 2026 event, the co-chairs have been announced.
The four people to chair the upcoming event are Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour, making it an all-women panel.
This gala will mark Beyonce’s first appearance in a decade since May 2016, when she attended the Manus x Machina theme in Givenchy Haute Couture.
In addition, Anthony Vaccarello and Zoë Kravitz will co-chair the 2026 Met Gala Host Committee.
The additional members of the committee include Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, Gwendoline Christie, Alex Consani, Misty Copeland, Elizabeth Debicki and more.
The theme for the next event was announced earlier which is Costume Art.
The gala’s theme celebrates the link between human bodies and clothes while also going over historic outfits and artworks.
As always, the theme’s exhibition will be on view for public from May 10, 2026, through January 10, 2027.
