Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt are eyeing a normal Staten Island name for their on-the-way baby.
Pete, who first announced their pregnancy back in July with Hewitt, revealed how they are preparing for their expected baby while speaking with PEOPLE during his recent shoot with eBay.
The Saturday Night Live alum shared that he and his partner are “just excited to meet this little thing.” He further revealed that while the name isn’t finalised yet, they are sure it won’t be a “weird Hollywood” name.
Pete admitted they briefly toyed with the idea of giving their baby one of those quirky, ultra-Hollywood names, “like a color or something,” before realising they preferred something more classic.
“I think we're more into the Staten Island normal,” he said, nodding to the no-nonsense vibe of his hometown, New York City.
He joked that traditional names feel nostalgic now: “Mikey, Johnny, Tommy, Mark, or Amy, Bridget, Maggie, that sort of route. I miss that. Remember growing up when you knew like seven Franks?”
While the first name might stay traditional, Pete teased that they could get a little creative with the middle name.
“We were thinking the middle name could be a little fun,” he said.
