Millie Bobby Brown reveals her new name post marriage

Millie Bobby Brown has officially updated her name following her marriage to Jake Bongiovi.

The Stranger Things actress, who tied the knot in May 2024, revealed she has dropped “Bobby Brown” and now goes by Millie Bonnie Bongiovi.

The news came in a playful interview with VT, where her Stranger Things co-star and close friend, Noah Schnapp, struggled to guess her full new name. 

First, he said, “Millie Bonnie Brown,” then assumed she’d added Bongiovi to the end, suggesting “Millie Bonnie Brown Bongiovi.” 

He tried again with “Millie Bonnie Bobby Bongiovi Brown,” but Millie quickly corrected him: “Drop the Bobby, drop the Brown. It’s just Millie Bonnie Bongiovi.”

She joked about the repeated sounds in her new name, adding that she can now go by the cute nickname “Millie Bon Bon.”

This isn’t the first time Millie has surprised fans with her real name. 

Earlier this year, she revealed to BuzzFeed UK that her middle name is actually Bonnie, not Bobby, making her birth name Millie Bonnie Brown. She explained she chose “Bobby” for public use “for s--- and giggles.”
