George Clooney recently revealed what specifically helped the actor, and his dear friend, Brad Pitt to rose to fame.
The superstar was interviewed by The Times of London for a profile published on Saturday, November 29, where he revealed how he saw Brad make his way to the films.
The 64-year-old actor revealed that F1 star initially started with TV, “He was doing sitcoms and crap before,”
He further revealed that he was selected as the finalist for the hit movie Thelma and Loiuse but things took a turn when Brad scored the role.
The Ocean’s Eleven stars share a great bond but George confessed that he didn’t watch the movie for years because he was “annoyed”.
He said, “mother****er, Brad got it…it was the thing that could’ve launched me? F***!”
George later also disclosed that Brad still tease him about it but he has come to terms with it, “But, of course, when I saw it, I was, like, well it had to be that guy.”
The filmmaker went on to say that the role required the character to be shirtless and hence it had to be Brad.
However, he was interrupted by his Jay Kelly’s co-star, Adam Sandler who was present beside him at the interview as he weighed in, “I saw that at the cinema and when Brad took his shirt off people went nuts. But it should have been you, Clooney.”
For the unversed, the duo has been friends for over 25 years now.
