A throwback clip of the Nicole Kidman's 1992 interview is resurfacing on the internet amidst her divorce from her second husband making fans revisit a bittersweet moment.
The video is featured in the latest documentary Nicole Kidman: Outback to Oscars where Kidman can be seen seated with her now ex-husband Tom Cruise to promote Far and Away.
During the segment, the actress was asked if she firmly believes her marriage to Tom Cruise would be her one and last marriage. Her sweet response at the time is now breaking the hearts of viewers.
“If you make that commitment and you say that’s what it’s going to be… then I think it’s possible,” she said, speaking with the kind of certainty that now feels stings.
The documentary also shed light on the actress’s mental health status at the peak of her career. Even after winning an Oscar in 2003, Kidman admitted she felt deeply alone. “I was holding a gold statue… and it was the loneliest I’d ever been,” she said.
Cruise abruptly filed for divorce and ended his marriage to Kidman in 2001 leaving her in shock, according to reports.
Speaking of the present, Kidman is going through another heartbreak after filing for divorce from her second husband Keith Urban after almost 20 years of marriage.
