Ben Affleck 'leans on' former partner for holiday season

Ben Affleck seemingly chose to not stay alone this holiday season as he leaned on his ex-wife and family, spending Thanksgiving at her house.

After the 53-year-old actor settled his divorce with Jennifer Lopez, all eyes were fixated on Affleck as fans questioned about his activities this Turkey day.

It was reported by People Magazine that The Accountant actor decided to spend the important day with ex-wife Jennifer Garner and kids.

The source noted that it was “just like last year” where Affleck and “his mom joined.” The Alias star “makes it very special” with her cooking skills.

The former couple spend a good time together and “really support each other.” The outlet also gave an update on the Hollywood a-list star that he is “staying focused on work.”

Affleck and Garner announced their separation nearly a decade ago where the former moved on with his boyfriend John Miller.

Previously, it was reported that the two-time Academy winner was “banned” from attending the couple’s "nuptials" due to his “clinginess.”

This move was initiated by Garner’s partner Miller as he seemingly believes that the filmmaker “would attract attention,” stealing the spotlights on their big day.

It is to be noted that Affleck battled alcohol addiction for years, which presumably became one of the contributing factors in his separation.
