Ariana Grande is giving an indication of the way she deals with negativity and criticism online, and the way she wishes she addressed it sometimes.
The Wicked: For Good actress has been on the receiving end of a lot of chatter around her drastic weight loss, and it appears that she has a good way of dealing with it.
In a cover story for Interview magazine with Nicole Kidman, the duo talks about the way the Australian actress’s daughters deal with scrutiny.
The mother-of-three revealed that the girls often know exactly how to deal with critique and are able to shrug them off.
Ariana added, ‘And just make a joke and move on. I’m like, “Wow. Give me a little dose of that. Hello! I used to actually do that quite a bit and it became so exhausting. I felt like, ‘This is my ego doing this.’”
The Twilight Zone singer then said that she has a different way, and a more “spiritually enlightened” approach to these things now, and chooses to focus more on her art.
“I actually would rather go the cool young person route and just say what’s on my mind sometimes. I really would, but then I just do a meditation and move on,” Ariana stated with a laugh.
Notably, the Positions singer also discussed the fact that she’s gentler on herself now, and tries to incorporate meditation into her life.
Yes, the Wicked co-stars Ethan and Ariana are still together, despite break up speculation.
