Doja Cat divides fans with 'lousy' performance on tour

Doja Cat sparked a massive debate with her recent performances at concerts for Tour Ma Vie World that begun on November 18, 2025.

Although the 30-year-old singer penned down a thank you note for her Perth fans, Doja was called out for an incomplete show.

While performers make sure to practice with a group of back up dancers, the Woman hitmaker decided to set a new trend by taking over the stage alone.

Instead of changing costumes in between set like Taylor Swift, the songstress bragged about no “costume changes” in a special note.

The online community reacted to the shift, “Even Mariah Carey changed her outfit and [Doja] ain’t do sh*t but show up,”

Another poked fun at the Paint the Town Red crooner for behaving like “she doesn’t have a team… like a one man army.”

However, many jumped in to defend their favourite popstar with one Instagram user insisting that she can do it all on her own, “I paid to see HER and im happy with just seeing her perform.”

Moreover, fans from Australia were frustrated after Doja made them wait for nearly three hours before starting the Melbourne show.

It was reported that the attendees felt they were “let down” by the star after they paid upto “$130” for the “lousy” gig.

For her previous tour, the musician paired up with professional backup dancers known as shifters.
