Selena Gomez open to singing live again on one condition

Selena Gomez has dished about a potential live performance in the future, making clear that she is comfortable with the idea of only a specific type of set up.

The Rare beauty founder has not performed on stage in two years, with the last time being on October 1, 2023 when she joined Coldplay on stage for her part in the collaborative 2021 track Let Somebody Go.

In the latest episode of The Zane Lowe Interview podcast, the Lose You To Love Me singer stated, “I don’t know about ever performing,” later adding that she can never say never and that the only thing she misses is the interactions with fans.

“I don’t know about award shows or any sort of shows, that’s too vulnerable, it’s also just, not everyone is there to support what you are doing,” Selena said.

“However the idea of doing, I don’t know, an acoustic set or some sort of soft version I would love to do that, I miss being with fans for sure.”

The Only Murders in the Building actress then added that she feels like she got a little tired of her lifestyle as solely a popstar and as a result shifted her energy to more of her acting roles.
