Ariana Grande attacked at ‘Wicked: For Good’ premiere
The singer-actress was at the premiere for her upcoming movie
Pop star Ariana Grande was attacked at the premier of her upcoming movie Wicked: For Good.
The One Last Time singer was at the premier accompanied by co-star Cynthia Erivo, Jeff Goldblum and Michelle Yeoh when she was jumped on by a person from the crowd.
The singer was left visibly shaken as the person, who appeared to be a man in white t-shirt, jumped on her while she was surrounded by co-stars and security.
Cynthia, who plays Elphaba in the movie, hopped on to hug Ariana and comfort her after she was left disturbed.
The video from the premier have surfaced online as an eye-witnesses called it “this is the worst thing to happen”.
The person has been identified as Instagram user “pyjamamann” who has a history of jumping on celebrities in public.
Another wrote “To do this to someone who suffered ptsd from a concert is especially cruel”.
This is not the first time Ariana has experienced a public scare.
The pop star revealed she still carries PTSD from the 2017 Manchester Arena bombing that happened during her.
