Ashley Park shares iconic experience on ‘Emily in Paris’ Season 5

Ashley Park had a once-in-a-lifetime experience as she wrapped Emily in Paris Season 5.

On Wednesday, October 22, the American actress spoke to PEOPLE about the new season of Netflix’s hit rom-com series during the opening of her Korean folklore-inspired installation with Genesis House in N.Y.C.

Park said they had wrapped up filming in Venice. “So just to be able to explore or be in a completely new environment was really a once-in-a-lifetime experience,” she added.

Although the Broadway performer refrained from giving hints about her character Mindy Chen's storyline, she noted that she is excited to watch Mindy's journey with Emily in Paris fans.

"It's definitely not goodbye, because I don't think I've watched the full season yet," Park said. "So I'm going to have to say hello to her again."

This season follows Lily Collins’ Emily as she takes charge of Agence Grateau’s new satellite office in Rome, opening an exciting new chapter in both her career and her romance with Italian beau Marcello Muratori (Eugenio Franceschini).

Emily in Paris Season 5 returns on Netflix on December 18.
