The Marias front woman María Zardoya has fans rallying behind her as her shocking post from a few years ago about The Neighbourhood drummer Brandon Fried.

In 2022, the No One Noticed singer took to her Instagram to allege that she was inappropriately touched by the band member.

"i was at a bar last night, and i was groped under the table by brandon fried @brandonfried_, the drummer of the neighbourhood. it was one of the most uncomfortable things i've ever experienced...” she had written in the post.

In response to the grave allegation, the band had responded saying that they were grateful for her coming forward with the narrative and would remove the drummer from The Neighbourhood immediately as a band mate.

However, after taking a five-year break from music, the rock band has announced an upcoming album with Brandon still a part of the group.

The 34-year-old had stated at the time that it was his alcohol and substance abuse issues that caused his problematic behaviour.

As the band made its comeback with the controversial member, saying that he had worked on himself and made progress, netizens have pointed out the ‘hypocrisy’ of saying they would remove him, but of not actually doing so.
