Callum Turner recalled meeting fiance Dua Lipa for the first time
Callum Turner declared his love for his fiance Dua Lipa by calling her "the most beautiful woman in the world."
The One Kiss singer and Assassin’s Creed actor confirmed their engagement in June 2025.
While discussing his first meeting with the 30-year-old Grammy winner, Callum explained how he instantly felt shy around her during their first meetup.
He admitted that had already missed the chance of meeting Dua a few times.
"We had maybe two, three, four, five near misses over our time where we didn't meet. Mutual friends and places. There's one when she went to a party, and then I went to a party, but I arrived minutes after she left," Callum revealed while talking to The Sunday Times.
"I arrived at 2 in the morning and she left at 1.45 - she checked her Uber and I checked a photo I'd taken opposite my friend's house when I arrived. There were loads of things like that and then, when we were both able to, we were both single and whatever, I just thought she was the most beautiful woman in the world," the actor continued.
While reminiscing about their first time face-to-face in Los Angeles, Callum revealed how he and Dua had bonded immediately.
He explained, "We sat next to each other and realised we were reading the same book, which is crazy. It's called Trust (by Hernan Diaz), and I had just finished the first chapter, and I told her, and she looked at me and said, 'I just finished the first chapter too.' I said, 'So we're on the same page.'"
The star couple started their relationship in June 2024 and confirmed engagement rumours in June this year, with Callum proposing with a custom engagement ring.
The lovebirds are enjoying their wedding planning time together, but have yet to announce their wedding dates.
