Cardi B breaks silence on her reputation: 'I Am the Drama'

Cardi B has confessed she’s exhausted from living in the constant storm of public feuds and online spats but says drama seems to “follow her everywhere.”

The 33-year-old rap superstar, who dropped her hotly anticipated new album Am I the Drama?, opened up to PAPER Magazine about the toll the chaos has taken on her.

“I be every kind of tired,” Cardi sighed. 

“There’s drama I expect — if I’m throwing shots, I know it’s coming. But when people come for me when I’m not even paying attention? That’s when I realise — I am the drama. I even bother b****** when I don’t give them attention!”

Despite her fiery image, the WAP hitmaker insists she’s loyal to the core and refuses to cross anyone for fame, fortune, or men. 

“I’ll never cross my friends for money or a man,” she declared. 

“A real b**** doesn’t do that. It’s not about having money — it’s about being real. There’s too many fake a** frauds out here.”

With her brutally honest new era on the horizon, the songstress seems ready to own her reputation even if it means embracing the chaos. 

“No matter how much I avoid it,” she laughed, “the drama’s gonna come to me.”

Cardi B is currently expecting her fourth child, her first with NFL player Stefon Diggs. 

The rapper revealed the pregnancy during an appearance on CBS Mornings while promoting her album Am I the Drama?.
