The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, shared a “Timeless” video while he continues to tour as his persona for the last time.

Abel took to his Instagram to narrate the new promotional video that hypes the Blue Jays as they advance in the American League Championship Series (ALCS).

The Blinding Light hitmaker addressed in his soulful voice, reminding fans about the “timeless moments we have had… a few pieces of history turning in to ever-lasting memoires.”

The Toronto Baseball team is “on the new edge” as they “find themselves on the brink of a legacy,” stepping closer “to fulfilling their ultimate goal” in Postseason 2025.

Abel speaks in the new clip with Timeless from his recent album playing in the back, highlighting his lyrics “it’s not gonna hurt cause we did it first” to appreciate the players for reaching “closer to our destiny.”

Fans expressed their excitement upon seeing the rare crossover as one user recalled a childhood memory of the pop icon: “From baby Abel in his Blue Jay jersey to this omg.”

Another admirer pointed out that this is “such a full circle moment,” while a third netizen thanked the Grammy winner for “this anthem.”

Did The Weeknd extend his tour?

This came after The Weeknd announced new dates to his After Hours Til Dawn tour by adding Mexico, Brazil , Europe and the UK, starting in April 2026.

The musician is looking forward to retire his famous persona after wrapping the tour.
