Cardi B dominates again with epic comeback

Cardi B, widely known for her chart-topping hits, has achieved a major milestone, propelling her back to the top.

The 32-year-old Bronx rapper has stormed the Billboard 200 with Am I The Drama?, her long-awaited sophomore album, which debuted at No. 1 on Sunday night after moving a massive 200,000 equivalent units.

Notably, it marks her second hit project and ends a seven-year drought marred by delays, public rows and her much-publicised marital dramas. 

Cardi thrived on the drama, using it to power a comeback that had the whole world watching.

After announcing the record in June, she refused to budge when critics questioned her decision to include older smashes WAP and Up.

She sparred with detractors on X, doubled down on live appearances, and even hosted WWE SummerSlam, teasing new music in front of millions.

When her assault trial unexpectedly dominated headlines in August, the rapper’s razor-sharp comebacks and viral courtroom moments only added to the buzz. 

Days after being cleared, she was spotted selling special “Courtroom Edition” CDs on the streets of L.A. and New York, reminding fans she’s still the People’s Champ.

Add in a media blitz, surprise performances, and a perfectly timed pregnancy reveal with NFL star Stefon Diggs, and Cardi’s return was impossible to miss.
