Leonardo DiCaprio recalls moment with Paul McCartney at Oasis concert
Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio recalled witnessing Grammy-winning singer Paul McCartney’s special moment at an Oasis concert.
On Sept. 6, DiCaprio was one of the celebrities who attended the Oasis performance on their highly anticipated 2025 tour at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, Calif.
In an interview with NME, the Titanic actor reflected on how McCartney stood out among the A-list crowd, receiving praise from both the audience and the band.
“It was incredible,” DiCaprio said. “It was incredible to see them back together again. And Paul McCartney was actually there, and I think they sang a Beatles song.”
He further recalled, "I remember I was in the section next to him, and the whole sort of stadium looked back at Paul and clapped for Paul too, which was awesome. It was a great tip of the hat. So, it was a special night."
Furthermore, praising the tour, DiCaprio said, “It was a great tour. Everyone’s so excited about it. Really, much like Radiohead when that happens, too.”
“I think everyone’s going to do their best to be there for those moments," concluded The Great Gatsby star.
