Charli XCX shares glimpse of wedding with Matty Healy playing special role
The singer got married to The 1975 member George Daniel
English singer Charli XCX tied the knot with The 1975 drummer George Daniel.
The couple first got married in July where they exchanged their vows during intimate ceremony at Hackney Town Hall.
Later they had another wedding ceremony in Sicily, where many musical artists performed live.
George’s bandmates bandmates Matty Healy, Ross MacDonald and Adam Hann were among those in attendance.
Other musicians included Troye Sivan, Shygirl, Clairo, Richie Shazam, Caroline Polachek, The Dare, Beabadoobee and host Amelia Dimoldenberg.
The Von Dutch singer shared series of pictures from the ceremony in Tonnara Di Scopello in the village of Scopello, Sicily.
The pictures featured George’s bandmate Matty Healy playing a key role at the event.
Matty can be seen at the DJ decks where he was taking turns with EASYFUN and A. G. Cook.
In another clip, Matty can be seen crowd-surfing while Charli, Gabbriette and Yung Lean danced together.
Charli and Daniel first worked together in 2021, recording the track Spinning. They later confirmed their romance on social media in 2022 and in 2023 they got engaged.
