Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson sent fans into a frenzy when a picture of the former bandmates with a fan went viral.
Recently, a social media user posted a picture with the former bandmates, fueling rumours about their reunion at the Jonas Brothers’ concert.
Notably, the three-member boy band has introduced Demi Lovato, Fifth Harmony, and 5SOS at their performances.
Netizens took to the comment section to anticipate a much-awaited One Direction reunion. One fan wrote, “I’ve prayed for times like these.” Another well-wisher penned, “2015 coming back again. First Fifth Harmony, now 1D.”
The duo’s unexpected meeting comes almost a year after Liam Payne’s death on October 16, 2024.
Although it wasn’t clear why the longtime friends met, they shut down feud rumours, which started back in 2015 after Zayn left the band.
On the professional front, the 32-year-old singer hasn’t released any new music this year, but he was on his first solo world tour from November 2024 to early 2025.
Meanwhile, Louis recently confirmed that he will release new music in late 2025. He will be performing at the Away From Home concert in New York on October 4 and 5, 2025.
