Young Thug and Gunna’s friendship has seen many ups and downs, but the two could finally be headed towards reconciliation if one need is met.
The rap collaborators bond went sour after the both of them were arrested in the Young Stoner Life RICO case last year and Drip Too Hard singer was released after he took and Alford plea early on in the trial.
This lead to Atlanta rapper calling him things like a “rat” or a “snitch” and effectively swaying the opinion of the hip hop community to be the same as his.
Thugga, who was later also let go on probation and a plea deal, now has a message for Gunna.
In an interview with Big Bank on Perspektives With Bank, the Trance rapper explained that he had more of an issue with the Beat the Case singer not communicating.
“Meaning, Gunna, you my brother. I love you to death, n***a. Why you ain’t gave me an explanation?” the 34-year-old stated.
Thug then went on to say that his father once put him in a group chat with Gunna, adding “You can’t do no interview in the future saying, ‘I ain’t got his number.’ You overly got my number.”
Notably, the Grammy winner disclosed that he is upset at the fact that the 32-year-old did not stick around to help dispel the allegations that YSL was a gang, and didn’t even attempt to clear things up after the fact.
Yes, although Thug harbours no hate towards Gunna as of now, he still remains firm on his words, “The only thing I’m ever say—you’re a rat. You did what’s wrong. You betrayed me.”
