Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B has turned her viral courtroom moments into the theme of her upcoming album, Am I the Drama, set for release on September 19.

Over the past few weeks, the Bronx-born hitmaker appeared in court after a former security guard sued her for allegedly assaulting her during a 2018 encounter at a medical office.

As Cardi testified last week, her sharp responses and animated expressions went viral. CourtTV livestreamed the trial, and fans quickly clipped the most jaw-dropping exchanges, which spread across social media like wildfire.

“I said, ‘b*h, get the fk out my face. Why are you in my face?’” Cardi B exclaimed in one viral clip. “Why are you recording me? Ain’t you supposed to be security?”

In another moment, when asked by the plaintiff’s attorney if she had called the guard fat, Cardi fired back: “No, I was calling her a bitch.”

Following her courtroom victory, where she was found not liable, Cardi’s team announced a special edition of the album titled The Courtroom Edition, featuring covers inspired by her viral trial highlights.

“BY POPULAR DEMAND, the courtroom edition of Am I the Drama? is available NOW,” read a post on X (formerly Twitter).

Fans can pre-order three CD versions on Cardi B’s official store for $10 each, while a vinyl Courtroom Edition is priced at $39.98.

Released under Atlantic Records, Am I the Drama? marks Cardi’s second studio album, following her 2018 debut Invasion of Privacy. The record includes past chart-toppers like 2020’s WAP with Megan Thee Stallion and 2021’s Up, along with new tracks such as Outside and Imaginary Playerz.
