Anne Hathaway confronted the paparazzi during this week’s filming of the upcoming film The Devil Wears Prada 2 in New York City.
In a video shared by People magazine, the 42-year-old actress was seen talking to the photographers who had been swarming the shoot venue on the streets.
She said, “You guys have got to relax, there are children on set today. Does everyone know that there are children on set?
Notably, the media outlets have been sharing glimpses from the set of the movie since June 30, with netizens being locked in a heated debate over whether these pictures are ruining the cameo appearances or are building curiosity among the fans.
The images on social media have revealed the cast members who returned for the sequel, including Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci. The feature also brought in Simone Ashley, who was seen shooting a scene with Meryl Streep.
For the unversed, The Devil Wears Prada 2 is directed by David Frankel and written by Aline Brosh McKenna, both of whom worked on the original film as director and writer.
The second instalment will reportedly follow Mirinda Prestley, played by Streep, as she navigates her career amid the decline of magazine publishing, while facing off against her former assistant, Emily Charlton, portrayed by Blunt.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 will be released theatrically on May 1, 2026.
No, Adrian Grenier, who played Nate Cooper, Andy Sachs' (Anne Hathaway) boyfriend in the film, will not return for the sequel. He previously called his character “a fragile, wounded boy.”
