Meghan Trainor reveals shocking career shift after weight loss

Meghan Trainor, who recently transformed herself after shedding nearly 60lbs, has created some of the biggest hits.

Despite being a notable singer, the 31-year-old is seemingly looking forward to a major career shift in the future.

In an interview with Bustle, the NO hitmaker revealed her “new dream” is to become an actor after being featured in an ad with Patrick Mahomes.

The singer sat with her management and family to make a list of goals, “I want to book a major commercial… I want to be an actress in a movie… I want to be on TV.”

Meghan has seemingly backed a role in a project as well as she stated: “And I got another part, which is great and I can’t talk about it.”

However, the Made You Look crooner is not planning to star in a musical as she believes she wouldn’t be able to pull it off.

While her new friends have recommended her to be on Broadway, the Grammy winner maintained that: “I cannot sing eight days in a row twice a day.”

Elsewhere in the interview, she detailed about her full-circle moment being in a commercial with NFL superstar.

I’ve watched State Farm commercials since I was a really young kid,” she gushed about the ad campaign.

Although the singer kept most of the information under tight wraps, Meghan might soon make her debut on the big screen too.
