‘Drake & Josh’ star Drake Bell files for divorce

Nickelodeon star Drake Bell has officially filed to end his marriage after 3 years of split.

The actor is best known for playing the role of Drake Parker on the iconic kids show Drake & Josh.

Drake has filed a petition in Seminole County, Florida on Thursday, according to TMZ.

The actor’s wife wife Janet Von Schmeling had initially filed for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court in April 2023, citing their date of separation as September 2022.

According to Janet, she was filing for divorce because of irreconcilable differences.

The couple got married in 2018 and welcomed a son, Jeremy Drake Bell in June 2021.

At the time in 2022, Janet has requested primary legal and physical custody of their only child.

Since their separation, Janet has moved on with entrepreneur Jim Perez, who is the founder of the Self Made Club.

In February 2025, Janet announced she was expecting her first child with Jim.

Drake and Janet’s separation was announced in January 2023.

The former pair started dating in 2013 and later got married in 2018.
