Liam Gallagher, the Oasis frontman, has been banned to keep his tambourine and maracas off the stage.
The 52-year-old singer, known for his cheeky on-stage antics, revealed the rule during the band’s recent gig at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium.
This restriction came after two men reportedly snatched maracas from a female fan during the band’s Oasis Live ’25 Tour at Wembley.
Speaking to the crowd, the Britpop legend explained, “I can’t throw my tambourine out tonight or my maracas. I’ve just been told, ‘Don’t do any of that s*** any more.’”
He added that the decision was made due to fans’ rowdy behaviour during shows.
Furthermore, Liam slammed Edinburgh council over safety briefings describing his fans as “mainly middle-aged men” with “medium to high intoxication.”
He also claimed that the city would miss out on the estimated £1 billion revenue the concerts would generate.
Notably, the tour marked a much-celebrated reunion for Liam and his older brother Noel Gallagher, putting an end to their long-running feud.
The band may add four Knebworth dates in 2026 to mark the 30th anniversary of their iconic 1996 shows.
In 1995, a heated argument between the brothers allegedly ended with Noel striking Liam with a cricket bat in the studio.
Liam later recalled, “The whole studio got smashed to pieces — everything just got blitzed to bits.”
