The drug overdose incident and his record on the topic Relapse motivated him to embrace “sobriety” to get out of this pit.

He then started considering sobriety his “superpower” as he was able to “quit” drug abuse.

After returning back home in 2007, the Without Me musician released he needed to do find a way to tackle this, maintaining: “I’m going to die if I don’t do something.”

This was the time when the Superman crooner was battling “depression” and relied on “more pills.”

The Mockingbird hitmaker recalled waking up in the hospital “with tubes in me.” Although he tried getting up but “couldn’t move.”

The rapper worked on his album Replace while in recovery, which received “lukewarm” response.
