‘The Conjuring: Last Rites’ trailer released: Ed and Lorraine hunt for ghosts one last time

The Conjuring is one of the most famous horror movie franchise in the world.

With multiple spin-off and side quests, The Conjuring’s journey is finally coming to an end with one final chapter titled The Conjuring: Last Rites.

The movie is directed by franchise veteran Michael Chaves, who has previously directed The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, The Nun II.

This will be the 9th movie in the franchise where Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson will return for their famous roles of paranormal power couple Ed and Lorraine Warren.

Ed and Lorraine Warren, the American paranormal investigators, will follow the case of Smurl haunting in West Pittston, Pennsylvania.

In the newly released trailer, the Warrens help the Smurl family deal with the demonic presence of an unknown entity.

The movie stars Mia Tomlinson, Ben Hady, Elliot Cowan, Steve Coulter, Kíla Lord Cassidy, Shannon Kook, and Rebecca Calder.

The final movie of the series is scheduled to be released on September 5.
