Matty Healy’s absence from Charli XCX, George Daniel’s wedding explained

Matty Healy raised eyebrows from The 1975 fans after he was nowhere to be seen during George Daniel’s wedding to Charli XCX.

The band’s drummer appears to be close to the bandmates, since the rest of them were present in London’s Hackney Town Hall for the nuptials.

Since the Robber’s hitmakers met and formed the band alongside Adam Hann and Ross MacDonald when they were just teenagers, the lead singer’s absence became a hot topic.

However, Matty’s disappearance has a simple explanation- that he was busy supporting his fiancé, Gabbriette Bechtel in Los Angeles.

The If You’re Too Shy (Let Me Know) singer was there to attend the screening of I Know What You Did Last Summer, which his betrothed is starring in.

In an appearance on Friday, the songwriter donned a leather jacket with a white shirt with a red bolt on it, with a pair of blue jeans, while he headed to the venue.

However, Matty did not miss out on all of his bandmate’s celebrations as he reportedly flew out to attend the stag party for George.
