Tomorrowland festival faces disaster; will it go as planned?

Tomorrowland festival is set to begin on July 18, but the venue was hit with a disaster on Wednesday.

The set prepared for the festival in Belgium caught fire and a huge chunk of it was damaged in the incident.

However, it has been confirmed that the festival will go as planned.

The images shared form the location show the set swarmed in ashes, flames and fumes as dark clouds of smoke surrounded the area.

The set took two years to build but was damaged massively in the disaster as the nearby residents were advised to stay home and close their windows.

The spokesperson Debby Wilmsen has now reassured that the event’s fate rests with authority, according to the Belga News Agency.

“There’s a lot of fake news going around, but we’re definitely expecting 38,000 visitors at the Dreamville campsite tomorrow. They’re looking forward to it, and we’re looking forward to it, and we’re going to give them a warm welcome”, said Debby.

She reassured attendees that “The festival will go ahead, albeit without the main stage”.
