Katy Perry claims she’ll try to ‘hold her composure’ during performance

Katy Perry expressed her feelings while performing at Kia Forum in Inglewood, California during the "Choose Your Own Adventure" segment.

Fans voted for her to sing the track Not Like the Movies, which seemed to bother her in light of her recent split from Orlando Bloom.

"You're gonna make me sing this song in this time in my life?,” she asked. "OK, we'll do it! Because you voted for it.”

"I let you choose the song tonight because I like to pick an album for every country that I go to and for the U.S.A., I picked Teenage Dream because U.S.A., you could be a teenage dream baby. You better get it together. I'll always have that feeling for you,” Perry continued.

About Not Like The Movies, she explained, "This next song I wrote in my 20s... after my first divorce."

The singer claimed that she would "try and hold my composure while I sing it a week before my period."

The show took place after she attended the Balenciaga haute couture show, which was the same day that Bloom posted a photo of them posing with their daughter, Daisy Dove.
