Jennifer Aniston fans are delighted following an announcement that the actress is set to star in I’m Glad My Mom Died series.
The Apple TV+ series inspired by Jennette McCurdy’s memoir is confirmed with 10-episode order.
According to Variety, the 56-year-old American actress will play the role of overbearing and domineering mother to a young actress on a hit children’s show. However, the mother-daughter relationship is portrayed complicated.
The show will be written and produced by McCurdy, Ari Katcher, and they’ll also act as showrunners.
McCurdy published her memoir in 2022 which topped the New York Times best selling list and remained on the list for over an year.
Apple TV+ is expanding their partnership with Aniston by casting her for the series as the actress is already starring in the streaming service’s popular drama The Morning Show, which is set to launch its fourth season in September 2025.
The Friends star’s incredible performance in The Morning Show has already earned her two Emmy and Two Golden Globe nominations.
