Blake Lively's request for Wayfarer documents rejected by judge

Blake Lively on Monday suffered a major blow in her ongoing court battle with Justin Baldoni.

The It Ends With Us actress' request for Wayfarer docs has been denied by judge Lewis J. Liman as he ruled that the studio’s paperwork is protected under attorney-client privilege and cannot be handed over to Lively.

Understanding the legal saga between Blake vs. Baldoni

Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment, plotting a toxic work vibe on the set of It Ends With Us, and launching a smear campaign against her.

She went one step further and claims Wayfarer failed in its attempts to investigate her complaints lodged back in May 2023. 

The legal saga between the two went into full throttle in December 2024 when Baldoni hit back with a lawsuit of his own — focusing not just at Lively but also her husband Ryan Reyonlds and publicist Leslie Sloane.

The Claims?

Defamation, civil extortion, and other spicy accusations with an indemnity of a $400 million.

Earlier this month, the judge tossed Baldoni’s lawsuit— but allowed him to edit and refile parts of it before the June 23 deadline.

However, Lively flashed her legal feud win on Instagram, saying she stood strong for women’s right to speak up. 

While, Baldoni’s lawyer hit back, calling Lively’s victory lap “predictable” and “false.” He said the new version of their case will spill more tea due to “refined allegations.”

So, wait for the climax, as this legal battle isn’t going to wrap up soon.
