Inside Mike Tindall's secret plan to celebrate Anne's 75th despite her plea

Mike Tindall is reportedly gearing up to throw a grand birthday bash for Princess Anne, even though the royal has made it clear she’d rather keep things low-key. 

The Princess Royal, who turns 75 in August, already marked the milestone with a charity forum at Buckingham Palace last week, gathering representatives from 111 patronages. 

Sources say this was the only celebration Anne wanted. But her son-in-law has other plans.

According to GB News, Tindall is plotting a more festive celebration at the custom-designed party barn on the Gatcombe Park estate, the home he shares with wife Zara and their children.

Despite Anne’s preference for a work-focused event, insiders say her bond with Mike could smooth things over. 

Former royal butler Grant Harrold previously noted Anne enjoys Mike’s “cheeky personality” and appreciates people who are unapologetically themselves, something Tindall has mastered.

“She didn’t want a party,” a palace source said. “She just wanted to highlight her charities. That’s what matters to her.”

But with Mike in party-planning mode, it seems the Princess may be getting more than she bargained for.
